In pursuit of Tatia
December 8At 1 pm today, Sir Hope Grant set out with two thousand men in pursuit of the defeated troops of Tatia. Though they had taken the Bithur Road, Hope Grant guessed correctly that the nationalists would make for Avadh territory and for this they would have to cross the Ganga at Serai Ghat which is 5 kilometers from Sheorajpur.
